We are excited to announce that the Nora Thelma Boström Foundation is co-sponsoring the children’s program at the 2014 International Pulmonary Hypertension Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. We donated $5,000 of the Fund’s money to this event.
The children’s program includes a room for kids who have PH or whose parents have PH. Children can meet other kids with PH, play games, learn about PH, take a field trip and participate in the PH fashion show.
You can learn more about the children’s program and the PHA Conference here.
Although we never were able to attend, we know Nora would have loved meeting other PH kids. We are proud to co-sponsor this event in Nora’s honor.
Your donations will continue to make a difference. Later this summer we will choose a second organization to which we can donate.
Also, Thomas set a goal of biking four century rides this year in honor of Nora’s life. He is well on his way! He has already completed three 100-mile bike rides. He wears his Nora’s Fund bike jersey to celebrate Nora and raise awareness about Nora’s Fund and PH. Since it’s only the beginning of June and the California summer is long, he might be able to squeeze in a couple of extra centuries.
