The Nora Thelma Boström Foundation sponsored a webinar on caring for infants and toddlers who have pulmonary hypertension, along with the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. Claire and Thomas created the content and presented the material to parents of young children with PH. The PHA said they had a record turnout for a pediatric webinar. One couple who attended is in the process of adopting a child with PH and they said the presentation was a gold mine of information.
The webinar is available on the PHA’s website in their online library. This means when a child is newly diagnosed with PH, the parents can listen to the webinar and instantly access practical tips for managing PH day-to-day instead of being forced to learn through trial and error like so many parents.
We are very glad that all the lessons we learned through caring for Nora can be used to help other parents.
